7th Intellectual Property and Competition Forum

What this event is about

On June 21 & 22 2022 OxFirst will be organizing a two-day long forum. As Courts, Companies and Governments around the world gear up to embracing ICT technology, it is timely to gather new thoughts, ideas and perspectives on the future role of the patents that read on latest technology.  In particular we look at:

  • Litigation Strategy and the Unified Patent Court
  • 5G Licensing
  • WiFi Licencing
  • Patent Pools
  • UK/US/EU Consultation on FRAND
  • The unanswered questions in FRAND

Given that the series of discussion rounds we organized over the years were very positively received by the participants and may even have provided helpful assistance to the formulation of some of the ideas pronounced by policy makers and the judiciary, we very much hope that you can join us at this year’s event.

I most enjoyed the balance between competing views, or rather different views from all points of the spectrum. I also appreciated that the discussions remained polite and to the point.
