A major investment bank was eager to embrace the concept of IP in its investment decisions. In particular, it was keen to get a novel perspective on the technology potential of emerging markets.

Our Approach

We developed an IP based investment index that provided the Bank with a toolkit to determine the innovation capabilities of emerging markets.

Impact

This bank had so far not used IP as a means to inform its investment positions. By marrying the concept of IP with financial considerations OxFirst was one of the 1^st firms to provide IP based insights on technology that would have otherwise not been at its disposal.
