This private equity funded firm was eager to determine the value of its IP portfolio for investment purposes and to subsequently extract economic value from its IP. The firm is specialized in Artificial Intelligence and its Board had prior to our study been rather unaware of what type of IPR it owned and what its economic value was.
Our Approach
Oxfirst undertook an IP audit and determined the economic value of the patent & copyright portfolio. It also educated the board of this company about the economic relevance of IP and got Board Members thinking about the strategic use of IP.
Impact
As a consequence, the firm started to launch a comprehensive IP management strategy, which Oxfirst keeps accompanying.
