Join us on the 9th of December 2024 | 15.00pm BST

Munich continues to be centre stage of FRAND disputes in Europe and internationally. In this webinar, Judge Dr Oliver Schoen will be addressing key issues of standard essential patent disputes from a German perspective. As FRAND licensing and litigation continues to occupy Courts, Policy Makers and Standard Setting Organisations alike, the question arises as to how will German Courts continue to proceed some key issues such as the valuation of standard essential patents, FRAND royalty rate determination and the future of injunctions. In this talk, Dr Oliver Schoen will talk about recent decisions that handle questions concerning the valuation of standard essential patents and FRAND royalty rate determination. He will also talk about possible developments of legal remedies in judicial decision making.
