Judge Dr Jiyoung Yi
Judge Kisu Kim
Serving Judges at Korea's Intellectual Property High Court*
Dr Jiyoung Yi has served as a Judge at the Intellectual Property High Court of Korea since 2018, following her appointment to the judiciary in 2007. She has extensive experience across civil, criminal, and administrative matters, with particular expertise in intellectual property law. She holds advanced degrees in both Pharmacy and Law from Pusan National University and Seoul National University, and has conducted research at George Washington University and the Federal Judicial Center of the United States.
Judge Kisu Kim is a Presiding Judge at the Intellectual Property High Court of the Republic of Korea and serves on the Special Committee of the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property and the Board of the Korea Patent Law Association. With over fifteen years of judicial experience, he has handled intellectual property disputes across Korea's specialized courts. He holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Seoul National University and was a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley School of Law.
