Competitiveness and Open Access Licences
The Austrian Council for Technology Development advises the Austrian Government on various Technology Policy Challenges. As such, it had to formulate a policy advise on Open Access. We were invited to provide a comprehensive assessment to help the Government manoeuvre through various policy challenges.
Our Approach
We assessed a host of different policies across the E.U. as well as the academic literature in this area and provided the Technology Council with a comprehensive assessment on the topic.
Impact
Our study was used as supportive document in the most recent revision of Austria’s copyright law.
Very insightful, clear and concise. It provided a factual impact analysis which was of great help in policy formulation.
