Our Approach
We used a game theoretical model to assess the effects of various pan-European enforcement instruments at the pan European level on licensing negotiations.
Impact
The research was presented to various Ministries of Economy, Innovation, Science and Technology and Law at the national level, as well as to European Policy Makers; both in Brussels and in Munich.
It was furthermore submitted to various online blogs, presented at conferences and put forward as a peer reviewed academic output. It formed furthermore the baseline for further policy considerations of Enforcement Mechanisms under the IPR Enforcement Directive and the Unified Patent Court.
A valuable research piece that helped structure the public policy debate on a topic of great relevance for the E.U.
